Terms & Conditions

The inMallorca FINEST Awards 2025 Terms and Conditions:

1. It is 25€ per submission, per category to enter your business for nomination to the FINEST Awards. 

2. The deadline for the Awards nominations will be 31/01/2025. inMallorca magazine reserves to right to change or extend the deadline.

3. Shortlist finalists will be announced on 17/02/2025. inMallorca magazine reserves to right to change or extend the deadline.

4. Shortlist Finalists will be required to pay a mandatory fee of 375€ per submission, per category. Payment required only after Shortlist Finalist status has been confirmed by inMallorca on or after 17/02/2025.

5. Shortlist Finalist fee of 375€ must be received in full by inMallorca magazine within 30 days of Shortlist confirmation or the Shortlist Finalist will forfeit their nomination and will be removed from public voting & barred from any further participation in the FINEST Awards. 

6. Shortlist voting and judging will conclude on or before 17/03/2025.

7. Winners will be announced on 31/03/2025.

8. Any business operating in the Awards categories and based in Mallorca, with operations in and/or aimed at clientele in Mallorca can be nominated dependant on category.

9. Inclusion in the Awards is strictly at the discretion of the Awards organisers. We reserve the right to exclude any business or individual we do not believe to meet the eligibility requirements. In case of exclusion the business shall be notified and the 25€ nomination fee refunded.

11. Each business may submit one entry per applicable category, a 25€ fee is charged with each submission. 

12. inMallorca magazine’s decision in relation to all matters affecting the Winner for each category is final.

13. In the event of a dispute or tie, or if for any other reason inMallorca magazine deems it necessary or appropriate, inMallorca magazine reserves the right to make the final determination as to which of the nominees will be declared the Winner of the award.

14. Every Shortlist Finalist will be considered for the Winner of the (nominated) category award. inMallorca magazine Editors will form a judging panel and will select a winner based upon their assessments and taking audience vote into heavy consideration. 

15. Any personal data collected will be used solely in connection with current EU data protection legislation. Please see inMallorca magazine Privacy Policy for further details.

16. inMallorca magazine reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on this website and such posting shall be adequate notice to all participants. Please check these Terms and Conditions each time you wish to vote.

17. Should you wish to withdraw from the awards at any time please inform the awards organisers by emailing: awards@inmallorcamagazine.com.

18. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by EU law.

 

Voting: 

1. inMallorca reserves the right to cancel or suspend voting at any time.

2. The eligibility of any vote is at the sole discretion of inMallorca magazine.

3. inMallorca magazine reserves the right to disqualify entries or suspend voting if it has reasonable grounds to suspect that fraudulent voting has occurred or if it considers there has been any attempt to rig the voting.

4. Any business found to be incentivising votes by offering prizes or discounts to their customers in return for votes may be disqualified.

5. Any business or their associates found to be cheating or suspected of cheating by creating false email addresses leading to false votes, will have such votes removed and may be disqualified

6. inMallorca magazine, its sub-contractors, subsidiaries and/or agencies cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction, or any other problem with the internet connectivity or line, system, server, provider or otherwise which may result in any vote being lost or not properly registered or recorded.

 

Finalists:

1. Shortlist finalists will be featured in inMallorca FINEST 2025 magazine. It is up to the discretion of the Publisher as to the amount of magazine space given to each finalist. No discussion will be entered into.  

2. Shortlist finalists will be featured as a Finalist on the inMallorca website. It is up to the discretion of the Publisher as to the amount of space given to each finalist. No discussion will be entered into.  

3. Shortlist finalists will be promoted on all inMallorca social media platforms. It is up to the discretion of the Publisher as to the level of promotion given to each finalist. No discussion will be entered into.  

4. Shortlist Finalists will be given Digital Assets for promotion on your company website, socials and marketing materials- i.e Finalist Badges & Animations

5. inMallorca magazine aka The Publisher reserves the right to amend or change what the Shortlist Finalists receive.

 

Winners:

1. Winners will be featured in inMallorca FINEST 2025 magazine with at least a 4-page feature spread. The editorial and images used in this feature are up to the discretion of the Publisher. No discussion will be entered into. 

2. Winners will be given Sponsored Content advertorial space in all inMallorca 2025 editions. It is up to the discretion of the Publisher as to the amount of magazine space given to each Winner for Sponsored Content. No discussion will be entered into.  

3. Winners will be given Sponsored Content advertorial space on the  inMallorca website. It is up to the discretion of the Publisher as to the amount of space given to each Winner. No discussion will be entered into.  

4. Winners will be promoted on all inMallorca social media platforms. It is up to the discretion of the Publisher as to the level of promotion given to each Winner. No discussion will be entered into.
