We just experienced our first fiesta de Sant Antoni / Pujada al Pi and we’re all a bit stunned, in a really good way! It took me hours to get to sleep last night as the adrenalin was pumping through my veins and this morning I just wanted to throw the windows open and talk about it with everyone – except everyone seems to still be in bed..!

The Santa Àgueda Festival in Sencelles is a cherished annual event that combines vibrant traditions, religious reverence, and community spirit to honour Santa Àgueda (Saint Agatha), the patron saint of the town. Taking place from February 1 to February 5, the festival offers a rich program of cultural, culinary, and religious activities that highlight the heritage of Sencelles and its devotion to this saint.

The Sant Blai Festival is a cherished tradition in Campos, held in honor of Saint Blaise, a revered bishop and healer known for his miraculous cures of throat ailments. The focal point of the celebration is the Sant Blai oratory church, where a special mass is conducted. During the ceremony, attendees participate in a throat anointment ritual with blessed oil, symbolising protection and healing. Almond bread, a traditional treat, also plays a role in the festivities.
