Fira Nocturna Playa de Muro 2025 | Night Fair Playa de Muro 2025

1-3 August 2025

By Claire Miller

Each summer, as twilight settles over the northern coast of Mallorca, Playa de Muro transforms into a lively nocturnal fairground. The Feria Nocturna, held along the beach promenade during the last weekend of July, is part of the area’s annual festivities—a celebration of local culture, food, and community spirit.

The roots of the Feria Nocturna are firmly local: it’s an extension of the traditional town fairs in nearby Muro. Organised by the local council, the event showcases local artisans, culinary producers, and sometimes even agricultural and craft displays. While it often coincides with the Sant Jaume festivities in late July, the Feria Nocturna stands out as a unique coastal tradition that turns the beach into an evening hub of activity and entertainment.

What to Expect in 2025

Craft and Artisan Stalls
Visitors can stroll through rows of stalls selling everything from handcrafted jewellery and ceramics to traditional straw baskets and locally made souvenirs. It’s the perfect place to find authentic Mallorcan crafts.

Gastronomic Delights
Food lovers can look forward to tasting local specialties like arròs brut, tumbet, and freshly caught eel from the nearby Albufera wetlands. There will also be plenty of tapas, local wines, and modern street food to sample as you wander.

Entertainment for All Ages
Live music will fill the night air, ranging from traditional folk groups to relaxed DJ sets. Families will find children’s amusements and activities, making the fair a welcoming experience for all ages. Many visitors simply enjoy the warm atmosphere, mingling with locals under the stars.

This fair is more than just a summer market—it’s a reflection of Muro’s coastal and rural identity. Few events combine a beachfront setting, local crafts, and community spirit so naturally. With its shallow, family-friendly waters and laid-back vibe, it’s ideal for visitors of all ages.

Tips for Visitors

  • Arrive early to explore the stalls and grab a good spot to enjoy the music and food.

  • Dress comfortably for warm evenings but bring a light layer for the cool sea breeze.

  • Combine your visit with a sunset swim or a moonlit walk along the sandy shoreline.

The Feria Nocturna Playa de Muro is more than just an event—it’s a warm, open-air gathering where Mallorcan summer nights come alive. Whether you’re hunting for a unique handmade gift, tasting local flavours, or enjoying music by the sea, this fair is an experience that captures the island’s welcoming spirit.

Make sure to mark the last weekend of July in your calendar—this night market by the beach promises memories to last long after your summer holiday ends.
