A Showcase of Pottery & Tradition
Throughout the fair, artisans from Mallorca, across Spain, and beyond gather to present their work. Visitors can browse a wide variety of handcrafted ceramics, from everyday kitchenware to decorative and artistic pieces. Among the most recognisable and popular items are the siurells, traditional Mallorcan clay whistle figures painted white with red and green brushstrokes, which remain a powerful symbol of local identity and folk culture.
Opening Events & First Weekend
The 2026 programme begins on Thursday, 5 March at 6:30 pm with the inauguration of the Benet Mas Award at the Fang Museum, an event dedicated to contemporary ceramic creativity and innovation.
The official opening of the fair takes place on Saturday, 7 March at 10:00 am in Plaça de l’Església, featuring the traditional planting and dance of the Madò Bet and Marçal Giants, accompanied by the Xeremiers of Marratxí. Over the opening weekend, visitors can enjoy family workshops in the municipal tent, popular dances, children’s activities, storytelling sessions at the CACIM, and a festive parade with the Kalemba batucada.
