AT THE HEART OF ISLAND LIFE

The Palma International Boat Show 2026

Each spring, the Palma International Boat Show signals the start of the Mediterranean yachting season, while reaffirming the Balearic Islands’ status as one of the region’s most important nautical hubs.

Set against the backdrop of Palma’s iconic waterfront, the Palma International Boat Show is a celebration of maritime culture, innovation, and lifestyle where prestigious international shipyards gather to present their latest innovations. And for Mallorca, it’s also a powerful statement that the island is not only a beautiful destination, but a strategic centre of excellence in the global yachting world.

Organised by ADRBalears of the Regional Ministry for Business, the Self-Employed and Energy, together with the Balearic Yacht Brokers Association, the event returns from 29 April to 2 May at the historic Moll Vell, meaning ‘Old Quay’.

Having run for more than four decades, the show has evolved into a key platform not just for showcasing yachts, but for highlighting the full ecosystem that supports the nautical sector in Spain and particularly for the Balearics.

This year’s edition brings together 310 exhibitors and around 600 boats, with 275 displayed in the water. Notably, it features one of Europe’s largest showcases of large sailing yachts, alongside cutting-edge marine technology and services.

Three distinct areas each offer a different perspective of the industry and appeals to a wide spectrum of visitors, from seasoned professionals to curious newcomers:

Shipyard & Equipment

Showcasing yachts up to 35 metres, shipyards, distributors, and service providers. It features new models of sailing and motorboats, as well as marine technology, navigation equipment and propulsion solutions. It also includes a section for water sports, nautical tourism companies and professional training.

Superyacht Village

A highlight for many, this area presents yachts over 24 metres available for sale or charter, with access tailored to industry professionals. It also includes the Superyacht Square, focused on innovation, sustainability and crew services, and a dedicated Refit & Repair Zone.

Superyacht New Build Hub

A showcase of the future of luxury yachting, featuring superyachts between 35 and 60 metres. Here, shipyards, naval architects, and design studios present cutting-edge developments in sustainable propulsion, advanced onboard technologies, and bespoke interiors.

Beyond these zones, the show’s setting at Palma’s harbour, within walking distance of the cathedral, makes it equally appealing to tourists seeking a fun day out. Despite its international prestige, the PIBS remains refreshingly accessible. Day tickets are around €13 online (or approximately €12 at the door), while a full four-day pass costs just under €50. Children under six can enter free when accompanied by an adult.

This relatively modest entry fee opens the doors to a world typically reserved for industry insiders, and offers an opportunity to eat, drink and be merry alongside the most beautiful boats the Mediterranean has to offer.
