The origins of the Herb Fair can be traced back to age-old practices in the Mallorcan countryside, where generations of villagers roamed the hillsides collecting wild herbs for healing balms, flavourful seasonings, and fragrant liqueurs. The festival honours this natural heritage, turning Selva into a living museum of herbal wisdom and local culture.
