  • Opening of Art and Heritage Exhibits:

    • Student Projects from CEIP Es Putxet – La Rectoria

    • “25 Years of the Herb Fair” retrospective – Saló Parroquial


  • 7:30 PM | Traditional ‘Ball’ Dance Performance by Aires de Muntanya de Selva – Plaça Major


  • 8:30 PM | Launch of the ‘Estol de ses Herbes’ game – Auditori Es Centre

Saturday, June 14 – Main Day of the Fair

  • 9:00 AM–1:00 PM | Essential Oil Distillation Workshop with Joan Canaves (€20, limited capacity) – L’Hort de les Rondalles - Pre-registration required: juancanavesd@gmail.com


  • 5:30 PM | Arrival of the Myrtle & Parade featuring Dimonis Boiets and Xeremiers – departing from Carrer Cirers


  • 5:30 PM | Opening of the Herb Market -  featuring a wide array of offerings such as medicinal and aromatic plants, herbal cosmetics and perfumes, artisanal herbal liqueurs, traditional Sant Joan ‘Coques’ pastries, as well as books, eco-friendly goods, and locally made products.


  • 6:00 PM | Distillation Process Begins with a theatrical performance by Estol de ses Herbes


  • 7:30 PM | Live performance by the Selva Municipal Band


  • 9:00 PM | Distillation process concludes


  • 11:00 PM | “Fire of the Estol de ses Herbes” – Final ritual with ‘Gegants’ giant figures Na Rosa & En Pau

The origins of the Herb Fair can be traced back to age-old practices in the Mallorcan countryside, where generations of villagers roamed the hillsides collecting wild herbs for healing balms, flavourful seasonings, and fragrant liqueurs. The festival honours this natural heritage, turning Selva into a living museum of herbal wisdom and local culture. Cobblestone streets are lined with stalls offering everything from artisanal oils to traditional herbal remedies and handmade cosmetics, all infused with the island’s native botanicals.

Every June, the tranquil mountain village of Selva, perched on the edge of the Tramuntana range in Mallorca, bursts into life with the celebration of the Fira de ses Herbes—the Herb Fair. In 2025, this beloved local tradition returns for its 26th edition from June 12th to 14th, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in the aromatic world of Mallorca’s medicinal and culinary herbs.
