AT THE HEART OF ISLAND LIFE
Feria de Abril 2026 | April Fair 2026
22 - 24 May 2026, Alcudia
Each spring, the historic town of Alcúdia on Mallorca's northern coast bursts into life with the colours, rhythms, and flavours of southern Spain during its annual Feria de Abril. Scheduled for 22 - 24 May 2026, this beloved festival transforms the town into a lively Andalusian enclave, offering an immersive cultural experience for locals and visitors alike.

By Claire Miller
The Feria de Abril originated in Seville in 1847 as a livestock fair, evolving over time into a grand celebration of Andalusian culture, complete with flamenco dancing, traditional attire, and festive casetas (tents). Alcúdia embraced this tradition in the mid-2010s, with the first editions held in early May. Since then, the fair has become a staple of the town's cultural calendar, drawing thousands of attendees each year.
