Fira del Vi de Pollença 2025 | Pollença Wine Fair 2025

May 10–11, 2025

Set against the backdrop of one of Mallorca’s most picturesque towns, the Pollença Wine Fair returns for its 22nd edition on May 10–11, 2025, promising an exceptional weekend of wine, culture, and community. Held in the historic Cloister of Sant Domingo, this annual event has grown from a local celebration of Mallorcan viticulture into a highly anticipated gathering with both regional and international appeal.

The Pollença Wine Fair—Fira del Vi de Pollença—was born out of a desire to highlight the rich winemaking traditions of Mallorca. Organised by the Vi Primitiu Association, with the support of the Ajuntament of Pollença, the fair has become a vital showcase for the island's vineyards and winemakers. Over the years, it has evolved into a key platform for promoting quality wines under the IGP Vi de la Terra Mallorca, DO Pla i Llevant, and DO Binissalem designations.

This year, the fair welcomes 37 wineries from Mallorca, reflecting the diversity and innovation in local viticulture. As a testament to its expanding influence, the 2025 edition also includes 20 wineries from DO Montsant, a prominent wine region in Priorat, Catalonia. The collaboration between Balearic and mainland producers marks a growing synergy that benefits both regions.

The 2025 fair introduces three debut wineries—Can Vidalet, Ses Talaioles, and Son Vich de Superna—bringing fresh perspectives and exciting new labels to the event. Altogether, attendees will have the chance to explore and sample over 250 wines, spanning a wide array of styles, terroirs, and techniques.

The €15 admission fee includes a tasting glass and a €5 voucher redeemable toward any wine purchase at the fair, encouraging guests to take home their favourite discoveries.

What truly sets this fair apart is the personal connection it fosters between visitors and producers. Winemakers are on hand to share the stories behind their bottles, from centuries-old family vineyards to cutting-edge organic practices.

Complementing the main tastings is a thoughtfully curated program of events & entertainment:

  • Friday, May 10 at 8:00 PM – A welcome ceremony with officials from Falset (DO Montsant) followed by a live jazz performance by the MG Quartet in the outdoor tent.

  • Saturday & Sunday (May 10–11) – Guided tastings hosted in the outdoor tent, offering deeper insights into selected wines and producers.

  • Thursday, May 15 at 7:30 PM – A roundtable discussion at the RCNPP Hall in Port de Pollença featuring representatives from the region’s wine appellations, moderated by Guillem Vicens Xamena, secretary of Vi Primitiu.

The visual identity of this year’s festival is equally rich. Artist Malena Vilanova has created a striking watercolour poster featuring an old grapevine set against a deep burgundy background—an artistic nod to the enduring legacy and passion behind every glass of wine.
