Festa des Vermar 2025, Binissalem
5-28 September 2025
Every September, the town of Binissalem in Mallorca bursts into life with the Festa des Vermar, a festival that celebrates the grape harvest and the community’s deep winemaking traditions. While the modern festival dates back to 1971, Binissalem’s connection to viticulture goes back centuries. The town sits in the heart of Mallorca’s Raiguer region, known for its Denominación de Origen (D.O.) Binissalem wines, especially those made from the indigenous Manto Negro grape.
The Festa des Vermar is not only a party; it is a living tribute to the people’s close relationship with the land, vines, and the craft of winemaking.

The 2025 Festa des Vermar will take place over three vibrant weekends in September, culminating in the final celebrations at the end of the month. Visitors can expect a mix of tradition, playfulness, food, and of course, plenty of wine.
