Cicle de Jazz Event, Cas Retratista, Montuïri

9th March to 14th April 2024

Cas Retratista introduces the inaugural Jazz Series event, featuring four concerts throughout March and one in April, accompanied by a captivating photographic exhibition. From soulful melodies to rhythmic improvisations, this event promises to enchant audiences with the timeless allure of jazz music amidst the picturesque setting of Montuïri. More information here

Orange Fair / Feria de Naranja, Vall de Soller

2-3 April 2024

The sweet aroma of oranges permeates the air as the Vall de Soller prepares for the XVI Orange Fair on April 2nd and 3rd. The fair kicks off on Saturday at 10 a.m. with an array of citrus varieties on display, an orange market brimming with citrus products, and a Sóller craft market. Visitors can partake in guided tours of farms, gastronomic tastings, and culinary demonstrations until the festivities draw to a close on Sunday at 4 p.m.

Preceding the fair, a series of events starting on March 18th offer guided tours, family activities, and cultural performances as part of the Sóller Valley Orange Days. Additionally, local restaurants in Sóller, Port de Sóller, and Fornalutx showcase special menus featuring the versatile orange as the star ingredient, tantalising taste buds and celebrating the region's citrus heritage.

Beer Palma, Parc de la Mar, Palma

26th April to 5th May

Beer enthusiasts rejoice as Beer Palma gears up for another exciting edition, set against the stunning backdrop of Palma's iconic cathedral in the Parc de la Mar. Scheduled from April 26th to May 5th, 2024, this eagerly anticipated event promises a delightful fusion of international and local brews, culinary delights, and festive ambiance, all under the Mediterranean sun.

 

Hosted annually at the end of April and the beginning of May, Beer Palma has become a beloved tradition in Mallorca, drawing beer aficionados and curious visitors alike to indulge in the diverse world of craft beers. From renowned international brands to hidden gems from local Mallorcan breweries, the festival showcases a rich tapestry of flavours and styles, ensuring there's something to tantalise every palate.

 

One of the highlights of Beer Palma is the opportunity to sample over 80 varieties of the finest beers from around the globe. Whether you're a fan of crisp lagers, robust ales, or experimental brews, there's no shortage of options to explore and savour. Alongside the impressive array of beers, festival-goers can also indulge in mouthwatering tapas, carefully curated to complement the diverse beer selection and enhance the tasting experience.

 

Entry to Beer Palma is free, inviting everyone to join in the celebration of beer culture and camaraderie. The festival's opening hours provide ample opportunity to soak in the atmosphere and discover new favorites, with Sunday to Thursday sessions running from 12:00 to 22:00, and extended hours on Friday and Saturday until 23:00.

 

As the sun sets over Palma's picturesque skyline, Beer Palma comes alive with music, laughter, and the clinking of glasses, creating a festive ambiance that encapsulates the spirit of Mallorca. XVII Nautical Fair and Mostra Gastronòmica de la SípiaCuttlefish Festival, Alcudia

12-14 April 2024

Port d'Alcudia comes alive once again with the XVII Nautical Fair and Mostra Gastronòmica de la Sípia, celebrating the humble cuttlefish / Sípia in all its glory. The festivities kick off on Friday the 12th with the official opening at 7 p.m, marked by craft and food markets along Gabriel Roca Street. Meanwhile, the Les Escoles d'Alcúdia i la Mar exhibition opens its doors, showcasing maritime heritage.

Music fills the air as evening descends, accompanied by the tantalising aroma of cuttlefish dishes prepared by nearly thirty participating restaurants. Saturday heralds the launch of the XVII Fira Nàutica, featuring nautical exhibitors, Civil Guard and Maritime Rescue displays, and the prestigious PQI regatta team exhibition. The Mercadet d'Artesania i de Productes Alimentaris offers crafts and gastronomic delights alongside cultural activities, culminating in a day of sensory delight and maritime splendor.

Sunday sees the continuation of festivities with the Envelat d'emociones submergides and environmental initiatives, followed by musical performances and awards ceremonies. The Cuttlefish Festival promises three days of flavour, fun, and cultural enrichment, solidifying its status as one of Mallorca's most beloved events.
