The island’s autumn calendar is bursting with traditional fairs and festivals celebrating everything from pumpkins to local rice varieties. These unique events offer a taste of Mallorcan culture, from bustling market stalls to regional delicacies, live performances, and lively competitions.

Our selection starts with the Fira de sa Carabassa in Muro (November 8-9), this Pumpkin Fair is an autumn highlight, filling the town with pumpkin-themed activities, family games, and a giant pumpkin contest. Then, head to Inca for the island’s largest and most famous fair, Dijous Bo (November 13-14), a bustling event that transforms the town into an open-air market filled with Mallorcan crafts, delicious foods, and exciting exhibitions. Finally, wrap up the month with the Fira de l’Arròs (November 29-30) in Sa Pobla, a celebration of the town’s renowned rice variety, arros pobler, with food tastings, workshops, and festive music.

Fira de sa Carabassa | Pumpkin Fair | Muro

8 - 9 November 2025

Each November, Muro in Mallorca hosts the Fira de sa Carabassa (Pumpkin Fair), a centerpiece of the Fira de Tardor. This festive event celebrates autumn with, of course, a focus on pumpkins, offering a welcoming atmosphere with activities and entertainment for all ages.

On Saturday, the fun starts with many pumpkin themed activities such as a pumpkin treasure hunt, along with workshops, and poetry readings. Families can enjoy games like the Joc de traginar carabasses, while competitive spirits can join in darts, bike trials, and minibike races.

Sunday’s highlight is the Concurs de Carabasses, a pumpkin contest offering cash prizes for the largest pumpkins, alongside storytelling sessions, workshops, pumpkin-themed tastings and traditional fair attractions, making this annual event a delightful celebration of autumn in Mallorca.

Dijous Bo | Good Thursday | Inca

12- 14 November 2025

The Dijous Bo Fair in Inca, Mallorca, is the highlight of the town’s autumn festivities, held annually on the third Thursday of November. This massive market, featuring hundreds of stalls selling Mallorcan products, draws both locals and tourists to enjoy the lively atmosphere, which kicks off the night before. If you’re visiting the island during this time, Dijous Bo is a must-see event.

The fair is the culmination of a series of four autumn fairs that start in mid-October, growing larger each week. It has historical roots as a medieval market where farmers traded animals and goods, and today it continues to showcase local crafts, from leather goods to Mallorcan delicacies like olive oil, cheeses, and sobrasada. Alongside the market, visitors can enjoy wine tastings, performances, and exhibitions.

For an even more festive experience, visit Inca the night before for Dimecres Bo, a lively evening filled with street food stalls and fairground attractions. While in town, explore Inca’s leather outlets and dine at one of its traditional cellers, which offer local cuisine in rustic settings.

Fira de l’Arròs | Rice Fair | Sa Pobla

29 - 30 November 2025

The Rice Fair in Sa Pobla, Mallorca, celebrates the town’s long-standing tradition of cultivating the arroz bombeta variety, also known as Arroz Pobler. Now in its ninth edition, the fair highlights this special rice, grown in the fertile lands surrounding the nearby S’Albufera. Held on November 29 and 30, with activities beginning from Mid-November, the event offers a wide range of activities dedicated to the local culture of the town, as well as food, crafts and entertainment.

On Saturday November 29, the fair kicks off an official opening ceremony in the town square. Visitors can also enjoy live music, children’s entertainment, and crafting workshops & demonstrations. Throughout the day and into the evening, Sa Pobla comes alive with performances, food stalls, and stands showcasing local associations, creating a vibrant atmosphere.

Sunday November 30, brings the Sunday market, the traditional making and tasting of Mallorca’s famous Arroz Brut as well as various exhibitions, children’s entertainment and equestrian events, culminating in a live music concert to close the fair.
