Each autumn, the medieval streets of Alcúdia burst into life as the Fira d’Alcúdia returns. Now in its 38th year, the 2026 edition will take place from 2 to 4 October, transforming this historic Mallorcan town into a colourful showcase of culture, food, music, and history.
Held every first weekend of October, the Fira d’Alcúdia is a beloved tradition that brings locals and visitors together. What began as an agricultural fair has evolved into a three-day event blending artisan markets, gastronomy, art, music, and re-enactments that honor Alcúdia’s Roman and medieval roots. The festival is not just a market, it is a gathering that highlights the heart and soul of the town.
This year’s official poster features Alcúdia’s famous giants, a nod to the folkloric figures that parade through the streets during the opening celebrations, symbolising the spirit of community and continuity of tradition.

The Fira d’Alcúdia returns from Friday 2 to Sunday 4 October 2026, bringing markets, exhibitions, live music, family activities and Roman-themed performances to the streets of Alcúdia. Here is the programme organised by day and time.
Friday 2 October
Opening and Local Traditions
18:00 — Alcúdia’s giants depart from the Sala (Town Hall) with the Xeremiers de Lluny pipers.
18:00 — Third Fira d’Alcúdia Correbars, organised by Joves Alcúdia.
18:30 — Official opening of the fair on Passeig de la Mare de Déu de la Victòria, broadcast live by Alcúdia Ràdio from Porta des Moll.
18:30 — The Roman market opens.
19:00 — Les Augustalia, a Roman opening ritual, at the Town Hall.
Exhibitions
19:00 — “20 Anys de la Colla de Geganters d’Alcúdia” opens on the first floor of Can Ramis.
19:00 — Embroidery, art and local-history exhibitions open at Biblioteca Can Torró, Carrer d’en Serra 15.
19:00 — MetalWelt metal sculpture exhibition opens at Campet de les Ànimes.
19:00 — Embroidery exhibition opens at Casa de Cultura, Carrer de l’Hostal 9.
19:30 — Exhibition of pre-2000 technology at the Seu de la Gent Gran d’Alcúdia, Passeig Pere Ventayol.
19:30 — “Cada rostre una història”, a photography exhibition featuring 1,200 Alcúdia residents, opens on Passeig Pere Ventayol.
Food, Shows and Music
20:30 — XXVI Mostra de Cuina de Casa, followed by musical bingo, at Plaça de Carles V. Tasting €5; booklet €1. Proceeds benefit Alcúdia Solidària.
21:30 — El foc de Venus aerial acrobatics and Ignis fire show at Fossar de la Porta Roja.
22:30 — Pre-fair concert with Lipstick Groove, DJ Rocamir and Pepper Island on Avinguda dels Prínceps d’Espanya.
Roman Street Performances
Roaming performances around the fair begin with Rebelion street music at 20:00. The evening continues with Pervinox at 20:30, Rebelion at 21:15, La dansa dels déus at 21:45, Jorobadus Maximus at 22:15, Rebelion at 22:45, César Salax at 23:15 and El somni d’Ícar at 23:45.
Saturday 3 October
The fairground opens at 10:00.
Markets, Animals and Exhibitions
From 10:00, explore MetalWelt sculptures at Campet de les Ànimes, motorcycles from Nomad Demons, and Local Police and Civil Protection displays on Avinguda dels Prínceps d’Espanya.
12:00 — The animal area opens at Campet de les Ànimes, with local livestock and dog breeds and traditional farming tools.
17:00 — Traditional threshing demonstration at Campet de les Ànimes.

10:00–14:00 — Family Rondalloku competition and raffle by Porta des Moll.
