It’s as much a social gathering as it is a showcase of Mallorcan traditions.

The town square in Llucmajor in Mallorca

Las Fires de Llucmajor 2025 | Llucmajor Fairs 2025, Llucmajor

28 September - 13 October 2025

The 479th edition of the fairs will run from late September through mid-October, with the Firó falling on Monday, 13 October 2025. The autumn fairs date back to 1543, when Charles V granted Llucmajor royal rights to hold markets from September 29 (Sant Miquel) until the Sunday before October 18 (Sant Lluc). Originally focused on livestock and agriculture, the fairs grew into a broader showcase of local industry, crafts, food, and culture. The cycle ends with the “Firó,” a traditional local holiday celebrated on the Monday after the last Sunday fair.

12 October 2025

Cala Ratjada’s Mostra de Sa Llampuga—the island’s beloved ‘mahi-mahi’ fair—grew out of the autumn llampuga season that peaks off Mallorca’s east coast. By 2004, the fair was already in its third edition, placing the inaugural event in 2002. It quickly became one of the island’s most important culinary gatherings, celebrating the seasonal fish harvest each October. After a pause during the pandemic years, it returned strong and continues to attract thousands of visitors every year.

Fira d’Octubre 2025 | October Fair 2025

16 & 17 October 2025

The Fira d’Octubre is one of Mallorca’s best-known autumn fairs, deeply rooted in local life. Originally a purely agricultural gathering where residents stocked up on supplies for the winter matances (pig slaughter and sausage-making season), it has evolved into a showcase of gastronomy, culture, and crafts. By tradition, the main Fira takes place on the third Thursday of October, followed by the Firó on Friday. Since 2008, a dedicated sobrassada zone has been a highlight, celebrating this iconic Mallorcan sausage.
