The 480th edition of the fairs will run from late September through mid-October, with Es Firó falling on Monday, 19 October 2026. The autumn fairs date back to 1543, when Charles V granted Llucmajor royal rights to hold markets from September 29 (Sant Miquel) until the Sunday before October 18 (Sant Lluc). Originally focused on livestock and agriculture, the fairs grew into a broader showcase of local industry, crafts, food, and culture. The cycle ends with the “Es Firó,” a traditional local holiday celebrated on the Monday after the last Sunday fair.
A little bit about Llucmajor
Llucmajor is the largest municipality on Mallorca, stretching from its inland town center to coastal areas like s’Arenal and Cala Pi. It is a place steeped in history — most famously the site of the Battle of Llucmajor in 1349, where King James III of Mallorca fell, ending the island’s brief independence. Today, nearly 40,000 residents call it home, and it remains a lively center of traditional Mallorcan culture.
Key Events
25–27 September — Fashion Week Llucmajor
Three days of fashion shows, beginning with a runway dedicated to reducing, recycling and reusing textiles. The events are free, but require an advance pass and have limited capacity.
29 September — Sant Miquel and the First Fair
The patron saint’s day brings a popular cycle ride, the traditional Cavallets Cotoners, music, folk dancing and a solemn service at the parish church of Sant Miquel.
3–4 October — Frikijor and the Second Fair
The seventh edition of Frikijor takes over Passeig de Jaume III. A new Mostra de Cuines del Món brings food trucks to Carrer de la Hispanitat over the same weekend.
10–11 October — The Third Fair
Passeig de Jaume III hosts the 25th Artisan Fair, the 11th Opportunities Fair and the return of the Antiques Fair. Sunday’s programme also features the Gathering of Giants and Xeremiers, a craft beer celebration, children’s workshops and an evening correfoc by the Dimonis de Capocorb.
16–19 October — The Mostra Llucmajorera and the Final Fair
The 46th Mostra Llucmajorera fills Passeig de Jaume III with local exhibitors. On Friday 16 October, the second Tasta Llucmajor offers a tasting of local produce at the Claustre de Sant Bonaventura. Saturday brings an equestrian show, folk dancing and a 23:00 drone show behind CEIP Rei Jaume III.
18 October — Livestock Fair
The Final Fair includes displays of Mallorcan sheep breeds, local dogs, birds and farm animals around the school streets near CEIP Rei Jaume III. Traditional giants and pipers will also join the day’s celebrations.
19 October — Es Firó
The Mostra Llucmajorera continues for a final morning, followed by activities including Olympic sports for children and a theatre performance at the Claustre de Sant Bonaventura.
An exhibition at the Claustre de Sant Bonaventura, “Llucmajor de mostra. 45 anys de Mostra Llucmajorera,” looks back at the fair’s history and runs from 1 October to 31 December.

Stay near Plaça d’Espanya or Passeig de Jaume III for easy access to the main fair areas.
Arrive early on Darrera Fira weekend — parking fills quickly and the streets get busy.
Sundays are the key days to experience the fairs’ full atmosphere.
